Caroline Stephenson
Caroline Stephenson is a native of Murfreesboro, NC. She studied as an undergraduate at Boston University and Columbia College in Chicago.
Upon graduation in 1994, she moved to Los Angeles and worked for many years as an Assistant Director for films and televison (House, Eli Stone, Las Vegas). Caroline has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 2001.
In 2009, her film "Lost Colony" won best documentary short in the Ava Gardner International Film Festival.
In 2010, Caroline returned to her family farm in Como, NC. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the C.S.Brown Cultural Arts Center in Winton, NC. Together with her husband, Jochen Künstler, she co-produces the "North Carolina Family Film Festival", which has the mission of bringing high-quality, multicultural films to rural Northeastern North Carolina.
